These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SnapCost iOS application ("SnapCost", "the App") developed by Yuliia Kulakova ("the Developer", "we"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The Developer grants you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.
The free plan includes manual expense tracking, budgets, statistics and CSV export, plus a limited number of AI receipt scans per month and a limited number of budgets and recurring payments. The free plan does not expire and contains no advertising.
SnapCost Premium unlocks unlimited AI receipt scans, all themes, monthly PDF reports, AI insights and unlimited budgets and recurring payments. Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription:
Prices are shown in the App before purchase, may vary by region and may change for new billing periods; changes never apply retroactively to periods you have already paid for.
Premium Lifetime is a one-time, non-recurring purchase that permanently unlocks all Premium features on the App Store account used for the purchase, including future updates of those features. It is not a subscription and nothing renews.
The yearly subscription includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a different plan. Free trials are available once per App Store account.
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under App Store rules. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. The Developer cannot issue refunds directly.
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App except as permitted by law; use the App for unlawful purposes; attempt to circumvent purchase mechanisms; or resell or redistribute the App or its content.
Receipt recognition, automatic categorization and AI insights are automated aids and can make mistakes — always review recognized values before saving. Currency conversions use publicly available daily exchange rates and are approximate; they are provided for personal reference only. SnapCost is not a financial, tax, accounting or investment adviser, and nothing in the App constitutes financial advice.
Your data belongs to you and is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Because the Developer has no copy of your data, you are responsible for maintaining backups — iCloud sync and free CSV export are provided for this purpose. The Developer is not liable for data loss caused by device failure, deletion of the App or disabling iCloud.
The App, including its design, icons, themes, texts and code, is the intellectual property of the Developer and is protected by copyright law. These Terms grant you no rights to the Developer's trademarks or branding.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App. In any case, the Developer's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms end automatically if you fail to comply with them. Upon termination you must stop using the App. Sections 9–13 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always available on this page with the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
