Email supportYes. Everything stays on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud. There is no Velvie account, no Velvie server, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Setting up your studio, adding your services and prices, and filling anything in to see how the App works. You can enter a visit or a client and see how it feels before you decide.
Saving your own records: your clients, your appointments and visits, treatment cards and before-and-after photos, and your money — earnings, materials, and what is your own after fixed costs. Monthly or yearly, whichever suits you.
Sync is on by default so your book is safe if your phone is lost, and shows up on your other Apple devices. Your records are mirrored to Apple's private CloudKit database inside your Apple Account. We have no access to it and cannot read, export or recover it. You can turn it off in Settings; new records then stay on that device only, and what is already in your iCloud stays there until you delete it.
Yes — that is what a client book is for, and it all stays with you. Just remember that those are other people's details: on your device you are in charge of them, and where laws like the GDPR apply you should keep them for a good reason and let a client know if they ask. The App never sends them anywhere. See section 2 of the Privacy Policy.
Sign in to the new phone with the same Apple Account and install Velvie. With iCloud sync on, your book flows back on its own. You can also restore from a backup file if you exported one.
Open Velvie → Settings → the subscription screen → "Restore purchases". Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used for the purchase.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Velvie. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Velvie shows what came in, the cost of materials, and what is your own after materials and your fixed monthly costs (like rent). Everything is worked out from what you entered, in the currency you set — it is a private overview for you, not accounting, and it does not calculate your taxes.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Velvie and allow notifications. Also make sure a Focus mode or Low Power Mode isn't holding them back, and that the reminder is switched on for that appointment. Reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device — please don't rely on Velvie as your only reminder for something that matters.
Yes. Velvie is fully on-device. Your day, your clients and your money all work offline. iCloud simply catches up the next time you are online.
Settings has a step that erases everything. If sync is on, that removes the copy from your iCloud too. Deleting the app removes what is stored on the device — but anything already in your iCloud stays there, so erase from Settings first if you want it all gone.
